Some of the secrets behind macros:
a) good equipment, so that you can get as close as possible and give attention to speed and apperture;
b) a good use of the colors (there is a whole theory behind, just search the name "Johannes Itten" on the internet);
c) give attention as wel to the flower as to the background;
d) a lot of practice.
Your first attemps are quite good. Go on!
to me this is GREAT as a 1st entry on flower shots.... #2 is perfect, #4 beautiful lighting, #5 well done since it is not an easy angle, u need to hold the camera firmly..... #1,3 lebih cantik kalau depan bunga n not bontotnya

my vote goes to no 5... tapi kalau tak ada yg ranting kecik tu lagi better kot.... ambik gambar bunga ni kena sabar, nak2 kalau main ngan macro and the wind is blowing... so kena ambik bebanyak, tak suka bila download nanti buang (ada banyak memory space tak?).... ishh akak tak terrer pun.... just saja suka2 ambik gambar bunga walaupun tak tahu apa nama dia
